Our ferry ride from Koh Lanta to Koh Phi Phi was comfortable and easy. Upon arriving at Phi Phi's bustling port, we were greeted by a crowd and narrow streets, making it feel very crowded. We were unsure about how to get to our hotel, as there was no clear information, but we learned that a longboat was needed, with arrivals and departures being free of charge. The boat ride to Long Beach took just 5 minutes. Traveling to the township outside of arrival and departure times costs 100 baht during the day and 150 baht at night, or it's an hour's walk over a hill. The hotel staff were friendly, and our room was spacious with good air conditioning, a large bathroom, and a balcony, although it was too hot to sit outside. Contrary to some reviews, we found the included breakfast to be excellent, with a variety of dishes on offer in a pleasant setting. The pool was small, unshaded, and quite warm. Lunch and drinks were available throughout the day, and dinner was served from 6-8 pm. There were other pleasant restaurants along the beachfront. The beach was beautiful, but the constant wake and noise from passing longtail boats disrupted the serenity. There were designated swimming areas to avoid the boats, and the snorkelling just off the beach was fantastic; we could see hundreds of fish swimming around us without even needing snorkels. While there we walked to Viewpoint 2, long and hot but absolutely worth the 45min hike. The hotel could use some refurbishing, but it offers good value for the price. We experienced some noisy nights due to rain attracting local frogs, but overall, our stay was very pleasant, and we would definitely consider staying again.

The best thing about this place is the location. It’s chilled and away from the noise of Phi Phi town. There are about 5-6 restaurants to choose from along the beachfront but the better 2 are on the very end of Long Beach. The accomodation is like a 3 star hotel and was great for our 6 days. After changing from the plunge pool room (which wasn’t very private) we had the better superior rooms with a great view up a small hill and some stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed but generally leave you alone to enjoy your holiday. Our rooms were made up almost daily or whenever we put the sign on the doorknob. Breakfast is a simple buffet, but they do cook up good fresh eggs and omelettes - a staple in Asia :) We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of fish off the beach and around the rocks when snorkelling but needed to be careful of the currents. If you’re not too fussy this place is great and I would definitely come back just to relax and eat.

Staff at the top, helpful, friendly, always at disposition (super kind owner), in line with the lovely thai style. Price very competitive. For us, location was perfect, isolated, charming Long beach (the time we got there, sea water was almost perfect, flat and transparent), wonderful typical tropical relaxing experience. Very very nice breakfast (loved the lady preparing it), beautiful terrace area, huge tropical tree just in front for those who seek some cover from sun for a nap on the beach. At 15 minutes walk you also have LooMooDee beach, which is even more isolated, and at least when we got there seemed some sort of lost paradise (I am afraid due to Covid). Super quality/price compared to other locations nearby. Kayaks and towels are offered for free to guests. Hope tourism will return soon to Thailand, but at the same time I hope that won't ruin the wonderfully calm atmosphere of long beach area.

We spent 5 nights there during our honeymoon and had a great time. The beach is amazing, maybe the best one on the island. There are 45 sunbeds on the beach which are free for guests of the hotel. The staff was polite, room was clean and big enough. The location was good for us as we were expecting to be away from the crowds. We were using a long tail boat to go to the city, or there is a path through the jungle which takes app. 40 min. but it was not suitable for us. There are 3 different restaurants on the beach which can be reached by foot and one bar. We can recommend all of them and also the scuba diving school right next to the hotel. Breakfast is also good, but it looks more like a lunch :)

LOCATION! Just wow. Long Beach is amazing. We saw sharks, nemo, some of nemo’s friends and lots of other fish while snorkelling. Beautiful beach, very close to Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon and Bamboo Island. You can book a private tour with longtail boats for a reasonable price from Long Beach. The evenings and the sunsets were divine. Not many restaurant options around. Not a place to stay for party people. Very calm beach. There were monkeys that were trashing the place, but it was funny :) Not get too close though! We got a free upgrade, but our friends didn’t. One night we had a cockroach in our bathroom, but this is normal in Thailand, you’re basically in the jungle.
